On July 21st, Chestnut Park held its first symposium for the agents of the Toronto, Collingwood, Muskoka and Prince Edward County offices. Chestnut Park has worked tirelessly to provide its agents with as much information on the industry as possible to help set them up for success as leaders in the industry. The symposium was the perfect event to have the agents together to learn about real estate laws, useful real estate resources from the Toronto Real Estate Board, marketing tactics and also the benefits of being a Christie's affiliate.
The smart and savvy line up of key note speakers included TREB CEO, John DiMichele, CEO of Christie's International Real Estate, Dan Conn, Christie's International Executive Director, Kathleen Coumou, Director Government Affairs, Von Palmer, Jolt Marketing's Ingrid Menninga and JD Groundworks' Natalka Falconer.
The agents who attended the event left with more knowledge and useful tactics they can apply in their careers as agents at Chestnut Park. We especially appreciated having Christie's there to alert our agents to the benefits of being an affiliate, and also the new marketing initiatives they can offer to increase international awareness. Chestnut Park was Christie's affiliate of the year for 2015. We are looking forward to hosting another symposium in the fall for our agents to help increase their knowledge of the the industry and give them the tools they need to succeed.
