Mississauga is the 6th largest city in Canada. Located in Southern Ontario in the Municipality of Peel, Mississauga is thriving with culture and business and is home to a busy community. Bound by Oakville and Milton, the Halton Hills borders Mississauga’s northwest corner. There are 23 neighbourhoods in Mississauga that host a growing population.
Mississauga is a business hub. Pearson International Airport is conveniently located there, along with many major corporate headquarters. It has a strong multicultural population that is steadily growing. Its growth can be attributed to its proximity to Toronto. There are many festivals its residents look forward to that support the culture of the city, such as Carasauga, and gives the residents an opportunity to gather and enjoy entertainment together. Popular festivals and gatherings include Canada Day, the Rotary Ribfest, the Tree Lighting Ceremony and the New Years Bash, which all take place in Mississauga’s Celebration Square.
In the south end you will be met with Port Credit. Port Credit is the beautiful entertainment hub for shopping, events, music and dining on the waterfront. There is a wide array of restaurants, retail stores, services and cafes all within walking distance of one another.
